Daniel has over 10 years of experience in economic consulting , data science, and academia. He has worked with clients from different Fortune 500 companies, from retail to finance applying data and statistical analyses for reporting purposes. He has held adjunct faculty positions at Columbia University in NYC, and Touro University, teaching machine learning and data science courses to graduate students. Most recently he has worked as a data scientist in the BI team at a real estate website and served as an external staff senior data scientist at Microsoft’s Azure Cloud Forecasting team. He has built machine learning and forecasting systems for both companies. Daniel holds an MS in Statistics and MA in Economics from American University, Washington DC and MS in Quantitative Finance from Fordham University in NYC. In his spare time, you can find him on the mats, practicing the gentle art of jiu jitsu.
